Hi there, I’m so glad you found my little space in the World Wide Web!
I’m Bre, the maker, creator, and motivator behind the hand painted designs of Gaining Ground.
For as long as I can remember, art has always been a part of my life. After graduating college with a degree in psychology, I quickly fell into life’s routines and began a career in the mental health field while doing art as a side gig. After helping others overcome obstacles and achieve their goals, I decided it was time to start working on mine. Fueled by coffee and lots of snacks, I decided to make my side gig my day job while continuing to help others through part-time crisis counseling.
I feel as creators we always strive to do more, make more, and be more. I wanted to embody that idea of growth into my business, hence the literal meaning “Gaining Ground”. I’m always up for new ideas and collaborations, so don’t be shy - say hi!
